OCR Papers
Converting a scanned paper or document into text is accomplished through the use of OCR Software, or Optical Character Recognition. This process takes the scanned image, and does a conversion to text through the recognition process, creating text output.
There are a number of tools on the market to accomplish this conversion through OCR, and they are classified into free OCR tools and commercial OCR tools. Many of these tools also have online OCR, or conversion sites where you can pay per page. i will review these options in future posts.
